Philippe Lluel (founder and CEO)
Philippe obtained a PhD degree in Pharmacology from the Pierre et Marie Curie University (Paris, France) and a Master degree in Biology and Pharmacology of Ageing at the Marne la Vallée University (France).
Before founding UROsphere, he spent over 11 years in pharmaceutical companies in drug discovery in the field of experimental urology. Throughout his career he worked closely with various groups charged with development, regulatory affairs and research.
His expertise covers the fields of BPH, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and aging.
Stefano Palea (founder and CSO)
Stefano has a Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies, Pavia University (Italy) and a Master in Experimental Pharmacology and Toxicology, Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research, Milan University (Italy).
Prior to funding UROsphere with Philippe Lluel, he worked at Glaxo-Wellcome in research programs on urinary incontinence and then worked for sanofi-aventis as manager of several pre-clinical research projects on BPH, urinary incontinence and sexual dysfunctions.
He is long date member of the New York Academy of Science, the British Pharmacological Society and the Italian Pharmacological Society.
Scientific Staff
UROsphere's scientific staff is a high qualified team and experienced in pharmaceutical industry.
The staff is now composed of 14 employees.
