22 Jun 2010 - UROsphere presents scientific results at the International Continence Society (ICS) annual meeting (Toronto, Canada, 23-27 August 2010)

We are pleased to announce the presentation of our research results during this meeting:

-          In the session “Male LUTS, Clinical and Basic science”, a podium presentation will be given on “Differences in the actions of the M3-antagonist tolterodine and the beta3-adrenoceptor agonist mirabegron on non-voiding activity in rats with partial outflow obstruction”, on August 27th from 11:00 to 12:30

-          In the session “Clinical and Basic Neurology”, a presentation will be given on “Comparison of the effects of netupitant and tolterodine on overactive bladder induced by intravesical acetic acid infusion in anesthetized female guinea-pigsand "Netupitant, a potent and highly selective NK1 receptor antagonist in the guinea-pig isolated urinary bladder: comparison with aprepitant" on August 26th from 11:00 to 12:30

 Moreover, a poster will be presented:

  • Cyclophosphamide-induced cystitis in conscious female rats: development and pharmacological validation of an experimental model of referred visceral pain.
